For this week’s photo challenge “ready”, I have to defer to a photo I posted a little over a week ago because I don’t think I have another one that is more appropriate than this one.

It’s a quite literal translation but this is a picture I took of the final space shuttle mission, Atlantis STS 135, which I attended last year. We were able to get a special viewing of the shuttle the night before lift-off and it was a beautiful sight to see. This shuttle was ready for departure and we witnessed an incredible lift-off the next day.
