My name is Susan K. Edel, which explains the SKE in the blog name. On many levels, I consider myself a Jill-of-all-trades, however, I have primarily worked in the Interior Design / Architecture industry for the past 25 years. In more recent years, I have owned my own Home Staging Business, and I currently have my own business as a home-based Luxury Lifestyle Travel Agent at Saratoga Travel…along with still dabbling at a design firm a few days a week.
One of my favorite hobbies is photography. I have not had any formal training but in recent months I have become much more interested in honing my technical skills and learning how to efficiently use my Nikon D7000. What has become serendipitous (my favorite word) for me, is the fact that through this blog, I have found a way to merge my passion for all of the above.
Through my travels, I have the opportunity to stay at many luxury resorts which satisfy my love of beautiful design, and the locations I visit allow me to photograph the scenery and beauty of the area. With this blog, I hope to share my passions with you. I hope you enjoy what you see and find some inspiration in the smallest way. I encourage you to follow your passion and dreams and enjoy a well-fulfilled life.

Just stopped by to see what new photos you have posted. I didn’t mean to stay this long but I got caught up in all your photos. The Silver Slipper was the first casino that I ever visited. Wasn’t that torn down and they put up the StarDust. We have spent many a times in Vagas. Seems that your photos have carried me away for awhile. Good eye on your subjects.

SKEdazzles … are you in Saratoga, CA? I spent five happy, happy years living in Saratoga before moving to the city. I still love it there. It’s the epitome of Northern California laid back … a more low-key Los Gatos.
Wow, that’s great – yes, I’m in Saratoga. I grew up in LG. Most people don’t know Saratoga so I have to say near San Jose, which of course, does not convey the charming, small town atmosphere of the town. I absolutely love it here.
