Ok… I gave you a like for the picture as it a great shot but I have to say… if you were offered the nip in the air, a colourful horizon (which is only temporary before the grey sets in) or a white sandy beach, some sandals, a frozen drink under a palm tree watching the waves roll onto shore…what would you choose? The anticipation of the holidays can be had anywhere so thats a wash….
Well, in the big picture, I think you already know the answer to that by the sum of most my posts. But I am always ready to welcome fall and the change. There’s something a little exhilarating about it to me.
It’s the chill in the air… by the way.. on a further glance at the shot I like how the refection in the glass (and the fact you can see inside) gives the appearance of ceiling of foilage… well done!
Love this shot. Fall is my favorite season. We don’t get a lot of color change here, except for the aspens, but there are a couple of spots that I want to go to shoot that may have some great aspens. I’ll have to see. It may be too early now.
Great shot! Nip in your region? Been in the thirties at night here already. Nip!
Actually, this is an image from last fall in Calistoga, CA. Not quite that cold yet.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SHOT!
Thanks, Emily!
Is this from the book you’re working on? Either way – you and your magical way with a camera. Enjoy the season.
No, this ones not for the book but it is in the california wine country and I might eventually do something with those images.

Can’t say that was intentional, but thanks!
I totally agree
Beautiful shot! Makes me smile that this season is starting!

So gorgeous. I almost thought it was the Tower at SJSU until I read your comment about it being Napa. Can’t wait to see your Yellowstone blogs!
Nice shot. Love to watch the seasons change and the trees turn to fiery colours!
