I almost posted a moon photo yesterday, but got too busy. Story of my days of late. Really hoping for a more steady routine soon. I love the clouds over it. Gorgeous photo.
It was so gorgeous in person. I had been out for the evening and when I turned the corner to my house the moon looked huge over it. By the time I grabbed my camera and came back out that had changed and, of course, my picture doesn’t do it justice.
Beautiful – thanks for sharing:) Dealing with smoke in the air from a nearby wildfire and live in a valley among mountains, so just hanging out for a while now. Happy Saturday:)

I’m watching the Olympics…the moon will have to stay out there on its own.
I haven’t gotten into the Olympics this time. I did want Ryan to win over Phelps tonight though, did that happen?
Don’t know. Haven’t seen that race yet and am avoiding the news.

I’ve never been able to get a good shot of the moon but then read a how-to that suggested shooting at f/11 at 1/125 sec so I tried it the other night and was quite happy with the outcome…

Hope the fire didn’t do much damage. Those can be so scary.
