Well, since I’m too late for the second shot, I’ll just have to say that I love this one. The contrast between the yellow and blue is fantastic. Love the composition.
I love seagulls and the sound they make. When I need to relax, like at the dentist, I think of being at the ocean and can immediately hear the gulls singing.
I think it’s a beautiful creature – a different species than what I usually see here, though. Our ring-billed gulls are quite tame, which can be bad news when #$%& drivers in parking lots drive right over them.
I know most people don’t like seagulls but I’ve always liked photographing them. Wonderful shots.

You could just crop the bottom part of it. I liked the seagull on the lights.

I like this one too. I dunno. If you crop much, you lose the “story”.
