“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” Genesis 1:1
That is certainly the feeling that came over me when I saw Zion. The majestic beauty and grandeur of this magnificent creation is a spiritual connection to something larger than ourselves.
My hope for all of us is that we never lose our sense of wonder and may we always still feel small when we stand beside the bountiful beauty that was created for us. Life is to be appreciated and viewed with daily gratitude. I hope some of these images remind you of the beauty within your life. Gorgeous! Will have to get there one of these days.
Fantastic photo’s … Every time I see shots of this part of the country I think about what the Settlers must have been thinking after traveling 100′s of miles across the flatlands of the midwest. The awe and majesty are definetly all Gods!! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for reminding me of one of my favorite places. I’m looking forward to seeing some of your local posts, too, as I used to live in Los Gatos and my mom still does!
Your photos are amazing. When did you live in LG? I see we’re the same age range. I went to LG High, graduated 79.
No way!!! Your photo does not look like you are around my age, but my first look at it made me think that you lived across the street from me…on Vista de Sierra…and now I think you’ve confirmed that!!!
OMG!! email me skedazzles@gmail.com.
Your photography is simply stunning. I must get out to Utah and take in this awesome scenery in person. Thanks for sharing your journey!

Zion NP is one of my favorite places in the entire world– you did such a great job of capturing just how big and beautiful it is. I love the dusting of snow, it adds so much character! Thank you for sharing!!
Thanks, Brett. That place is amazing and it is so hard to capture the stunning height and deep hues of all those rocks. A must see in person for everyone.
Absolutely beautiful – maybe it’s time for a road trip …
It’s well worth it!
